Abstract
Primary stabbing headaches are characterized by transient and localized stabs of pain in the head that occur spontaneously in the absence of organic disease of underlying structures or of the cranial nerves. However, when stabs are unremitted and strictly localized to one area, structural changes should be excluded. Here, we report a 57-year-old man with stabbing headache as the presenting manifestation of intracranial hemangiopericytoma.
